Western–Carnatic Fusion Concert

With deep gratitude and joy, I am sharing moments from my recent performance, “Symphony of Strings – Classical Veena Fusion,” held at the Centre for Performing Arts, Rangakalakendram, Varkala, Kerala.

As a dedicated Carnatic vocalist and Veena artist, this Western–Carnatic fusion concert marked an important milestone in my musical journey. The evening beautifully blended traditional Carnatic music with Western musical elements, creating a unique and immersive classical fusion experience.

One of the most special highlights of the program was presenting Thaanam in my favourite ragam, Abheri. Performing Abheri in a Western–Carnatic fusion format for the first time allowed me to explore new musical textures while remaining rooted in classical tradition. Balancing innovation with authenticity made the performance deeply meaningful.

I extend my sincere gratitude to the Centre for Performing Arts (Rangakalakendram), Varkala for providing this esteemed platform for classical music and for trusting me with this opportunity.

My heartfelt pranams to my gurus, whose constant guidance, discipline, and blessings shape every aspect of my Carnatic music journey. I am especially thankful to Sri Ramachandran Potti Sir and my fellow musicians for their incredible support and collaborative spirit on stage.

I am also grateful to my family and to everyone who attended the concert and encouraged me with their presence and blessings. Your support continues to inspire me to grow as a Carnatic musician and explore new dimensions of Indian classical music.

This performance at Rangakalakendram remains a cherished chapter in my journey as a Carnatic vocalist and Veena performer.
