Carnatic Vocal Concert
Ganesham Soorya Naataka Kalari, Thiruvananthapuram
Performing at the prestigious Soorya Festival was truly a dream-come-true moment in my musical journey. I feel immensely blessed and grateful to have had the opportunity to present my Carnatic music on such a respected cultural platform.
On January 6, 2026, at Ganesham Soorya Naataka Kalari, Trivandrum, I had the honour of presenting a Carnatic vocal concert at 6:45 PM. It was an evening where tradition, poetry, and classical music came together beautifully.
One of the highlights of my performance was a Carnatic vocal piece inspired by Cherussery’s Krishnagadha. It was a deeply fulfilling experience to bring poetry to life through music. I also had the privilege of performing a portion adapted from Kalyana Sougandhikam by the renowned Malayalam poet Kunchan Nambiar. Presenting such timeless literary works through Carnatic music made the concert even more meaningful.
My sincere thanks to Madhu Sir for the beautiful composition, and to Krishnamoorthy Sir for giving me this invaluable opportunity. I am deeply grateful to my co-artists for their generous support and musical collaboration on stage.
Above all, I thank everyone who attended the concert and supported me with their love and prayers. Your encouragement strengthens my dedication to Carnatic music and inspires me to continue learning and growing in this art form.
Performing at the Soorya Festival remains a cherished milestone in my journey as a Carnatic vocalist, and I look forward to presenting many more concerts with sincerity, discipline, and respect for our rich musical heritage.
